Large quarter-repeating silver-gilt Swiss pocket watch

A fine, large, quarter-repeating, silver-gilt pocket watch with painted-on enamel dial. Made by Robert & Comp, Genève Circa 1820.
Three-body, bassine and polished bezel case with reeded band and the back engraved with flowers and foliate scrolls. Hinged and sprung gilt metal cuvette hinged to the movement ring.
Gold with Arabic numerals dial on white enamel lappet reserves, outer engraved minute track and in the centre an enamelled with a scene of a shepherdess in a landscape. Blued steel Breguet hands.
Matte gilt full plate movement with fusee and chain, verge escapement, three-arm brass balance with flat balance spring, pierced and engraved continental cock, silvered regulation dial and repeating on gongs activated by depressing the pendant.
Cuvette signed.
