Gold and enamel lever lady’s watch

An elegant Swiss 18 Carat gold and painted-on enamel half hunting cased keyless lady’s pendant watch, circa 1880. A foliate engraved band, the front cover with an opalescent guilloche enamel chapter ring with radial blue Roman numerals, a petal form border with blue flowers and black enamel outline, foliate engraved border, the back decorated en suite with a bouquet of pink roses on an opalescent ground. Hinged gold-rimmed glazed cuvette. White enamel dial, radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds and gold double spade hands. A frosted gilt, bar calibre movement, 17 jewels, wolf’s tooth winding, counterpoised straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Dial, case and movement signed.
