A fine and elegant, 18K yellow gold keyless dress pocket watch with an 18K yellow gold fancy link long chain by Vacheron & Constantin, Genève, circa 1944.  A polished, curved bezel, tapered rectangular bow. Two-tone gold dial applied gold baton indexes and Roman numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds. Yellow gold bâton hands. Rhodium-plated movement with Geneva striping decoration, 18 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator. Dial, case and movement signed.
