A Swiss 18 carat gold keyless lever chronograph dress watch with tachometer scale, made by Longines in Saint-Imier, circa 1944. An open faced plain case with a two tone gilt dial with painted Arabic numerals, tachometric scale,  30 minute chrono totaliser at 12 o’clock, subsidiary dial for seconds at 6 o’clock, a central second hand for the chronograph, and blued steel eventail hands. A movement with lever escapement, a Breguet balance spring, and a column wheel. Dial and movement are signed
