A very fine Swiss 18 carat gold, technical rarity, double-sided pocket watch with an unusual 2nd-time zone, interesting anchor chronometer, circa 1870. Nickel movement, lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance. Engine-turned case.
Decentralized enamel dial on the front with a display of the normal time, on the back separately adjustable 2nd-time zone, champlevé numerals, view of the interesting anchor chronometer movement, fine Breguet steel hands, red-gold hands on the front, very rare.
