A remarkable Swiss gold lever watch with a stunning engraved case, circa 1830-1850. This watch, with a lever escapement and an enamel dial, is housed in a gold case that features intricate engravings of a man on horseback. The watch was made by the watchmaker firm Vaucher Fréres and is signed on the inner case as Vaucher (in script) A FLEURIER/. The gilt movement is signed as VAUCHER/FLEURIER/.
