Gold and enamal decorative pocket watch

A Swiss 18 carat yellow gold, enamel pocket watch for the Turkish market, made by Auguste Courvoisier & Cie in La Chaux-de-Fonds, circa 1850. A key winding hunting cased with scallop-edged case, counting seven lobes. The cover with, in the center, a polychrome bunch of flowers in champlevé enamel on a vermicelli background, case back decorated with fruits. The cover and case back bezels, pendant and bow, chiselled with foliage and a gold cuvette. White enamel dial, with radial Turkish numerals and blued steel Spade hands. A gilded brass movement, going barrel, cylinder escapement, monometallic balance and blued steel flat hairspring, polished steel index regulator with temperature compensating bimetallic curb. Signature on the cuvette.
