Gold open faced verge pocket watch

A fine, very small and rare French, 18 Carat gold, dumb quarter repeating pocket watch, circa 1780. A Louis XVI, engine turned case. White enamel dial with Breguet numerals, outer minute track. Blued steel Breguet hands. A frosted gilt full plate movement, ring turned tapered pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, four arm brass balance, flat balance spring, foliate pierced and chased continental type balance cock, silver regulation disc, repeating with two hammers on the case activated by depressing the pendant.
Movement signed. Case with Paris hallmarks.
