Exquisite verge watch with repeater

An exquisite gold and enamel verge watch with repeater, made by Jean-François Perrot in Paris, France, circa 1800. The open faced case of this watch was crafted from 18 carat gold and enamel and features a ring of large oriental pearls on both sides and a high quality enamel painting and paillonné work on dark blue guilloché enamel on the back lid. The enamel dial features Arabic hour numerals and gold hands and the numbered movement has a verge escapement and an à toc quarter repeater.
The dial and movement are signed.
