Breguet
Around 1894, the Breguet watchmaking company was operating under the name Maison Breguet.
The business was owned by the English watchmaker Edward Brown, who had acquired the firm from the last direct Breguet family descendant, Louis-Clément, in 1870. Brown remained in charge until his death in 1895, at which point the firm was taken over by his sons Edward and Henry. The name Maison Breguet was used from at least 1881.
