Gold open faced repeater by Breguet

A French 18 carat gold quarter repeating keyless pocket watch, from the 19th century. The movement of this watch features an anchor escapement, a bimetallic balance wheel, a Breguet balance spring, an advance/delay adjustment, and two hammers on a gong. The white enamelled dial displays Roman numerals, a minute track, a subsidiary dial for the seconds, and Breguet hands. The 18 carat gold case is hinged with a smooth bottom, and the gold bowl is signed and numbered.
