A fine French 18K gold and enamel pendant watch, circa 1780. Gilt full-plate movement, cylindrical pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, three-arm brass balance, flat balance spring, pierced and engraved continental type balance cock, silvered regulation dial.
Case with hinged and sprung bezel set with half-pearls, the back cover overlaid with wine-colored guilloché enamel decorated with vermiculae, half-pearl border.
White enamel dial with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track and Arabic five minute numerals. Blued steel Breguet hands. Dial and movement signed.
