Gold hunting cased cylinder watch

Very fine and rare Swiss 18 carat yellow gold hunting cased quarter repeating pocket watch made by Breguet, circa 1935. Sold on September 30th, 1935, for 1.600 Francs to Mme Janssens. Frosted gilt movement with a ruby cylinder escapement, standing barrel, gold three arm balance, blued steel flat balance spring, parachute suspension, a temperature compensation curb and an index regulator, the repeating with two hammers on two gongs activated by a pull-and-twist piston in the band. Matte silver, engine turned dial with Roman hour numerals and outer dot minute divisions on a brushed chapter ring, subsidiary seconds at 8 o’clock and blued steel Breguet hands. The polished case with engine turned covers made by Leopold Secheret. Dial, case and movement signed.
