A very fine and rare French, 18 carat gold and turquoise set key wind open face quarter repeating pocket watch, circa 1830. Gilt full plate fusée verge escapement brass balance with blued flat balance spring.
Gilt guilloché engraved dial with black Arabic numerals to enamel surround, black outer minute track to enamel surround, all within an applied two-colour gold border depicting blossoms and leaves, gilt Breguet style hands.
Engine turned consular case, applied two-colour gold foliate and turquoise stone decoration to the case back and bezels.
Cuvette signed.
