Gold hunting cased keyless lever watch

A fine French 18 carat yellow gold full hunter pocket watch, signed with an apocryphal Breguet signature, circa 1900. It has a mechanical crown winding gilt brass movement with a lever escapement, a bimetallic balance wheel, and a blued steel Breguet balance spring layout. The white enamel dial features black Roman numerals for the hours, an outer minute track with Arabic five minute numerals from 5 to 60, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock, and gold pear shaped hands bearing an apocryphal Breguet signature.

The timepiece is housed in a polished round three body, 18 carat solid yellow gold full hunter case stamped with a French horsehead assay hallmark. It has a monogrammed spring hinged front cover that opens to reveal the crystal dial face, a smooth polished back cover, a fluted winding crown, a sturdy round suspension bow, and a solid 18 carat gold inner cuvette also bearing an apocryphal Breguet signature.
