A unique and very rare French 20K Louis XV Lépine watch with an enamel case set with diamonds, starry sky, and repeater, made by Michel Magnen (Magnin) Paris, master from 1770 onwards.
Signed and numbered, fine verge movement No.132, and quarter repeater à-toc. Extremely beautiful Louis XV-style enamel dial with Roman radial hours, outer minutes track with Arabic five minutes numerals, especially beautiful silver hands, hour handset with rose cut diamonds. French 20K gold case, punch 1774-1780, blue engine turned enamel with white rims, and both sides set with diamonds.
