A fine Swiss 18K multicolored gold, ruby spinel and turquoise-set watch with original matching châtelaine, circa 1830. The back very richly decorated with multicolored gold flowers and foliage, set with rubies and turquoises, bezel decorated en suite, band chased with flowers. Châtelaine of four links, gold spoon, en suite with the case, two chains, one for gold ratchet key, the other for a swivel seal.

Gold dial, champlevé radial Roman numerals on red gold ring,outer minute divisions, varicolored gold border with floral pattern. Blued steel hands. Frosted gilt full-plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement brass balance with flat balance spring, continental balance cock. Movement signed “LE ROY”.
