Gold and enamel Louis XV watch

A decorative 18K Swiss gold and enamel open faced verge pocket watch, circa 1780. A Louis XVI case, the back centred by an oval painted on enamel medallion with a scene of a couple surprised amongst the grass, varicoloured gold swag border, floral chased gold bezel.
White enamel dial, radial Roman hours, outer dot minute divisions with Arabic quarter-hour numerals, winding aperture between 3 and 4 o’clock, gold Louis XVI hands. A hinged gilt-brass movement, cylindrical pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement, micrometric potence adjustment, three-arm brass balance with flat balance spring, continental balance cock, polished steel endplate, silver regulation dial. Movement signed.
