An attractive, small French – Louis XV Lepine – pocket watch in a gold case à quatre couleurs, circa 1770.
Engine turned 18K gold case, made in 4 different shades of gold, with cartouche and French gold hallmarks. Signed and numbered early cylinder movement, signed in Louis XV-style. Enamel dial with Arabic radial hours, outer minutes track with Arabic five minutes numerals, and pierced Louis XV filigree gold hands.
