The watch is a first version of a world time watch, as they were built 100 years later by many manufacturers. For pocket watches before this time you will usually find a maximum of 2 time zones, so this version is a museum rarity! We are only aware of one other watch from this period with the same complication. There, however, all time zones had separate movements. In the present movement, the complicated motion train is driven by only one movement, winding of the extra big fusee in center of the dial.
