A very fine French lever chronometer with split seconds chronograph and 60 min. counter, circa 1930.
18 carat gold, polished, à goutte case with numbered and signed gold dome and pusher for chronograph at “11”. Signed silvered dial with radial Roman hours, auxiliary seconds, subsidiary dial for the 60 min. counter, split-seconds chronograph and gold spade hands. Frosted gilt half plate movement with ground and bevelled chronograph steel parts, ratchet wheel, ground double hand tong with polished bevelling, separate ratchet wheel for split seconds chronograph, observatory hallmark “viper” and gold screw compensation balance.
