–
An exquisite museum verge watch repeater with original chatelaine, probably made by Augustin More in Paris, France, circa 1780. The open faced case was crafted from 18 Carat four colour gold in exceptional quality and has a relief depiction of a pair of lovers on the back lid, a case band with fine sound openings and a bell. The white enamel dial has an outer ring with black Arabic hour numerals and pink gold hands. The movement has a complicated verge escapement and a quarter hour repeater on bell.
