A splendid French 18-carat multi-coloured gold rococo verge pocket watch with à toc et à tact repeater, circa 1770. High-grade verge movement, repeating hours and quarter hours on a bell or case. White enamel dial with Arabic numerals, original pink gold hour hand and a missing minute hand. Repoussé case, jewels to the front, relief scene with four different gold nuances to the back, 5-part lateral hinge, finest sound openings and bell. Movement signed.
