Gold minute repeater with day and month indication

An important, unique, astronomical and extremely fine “Grande Complication” with second time zone and double perpetual calender (“double quantieme perpetuel”) with day and month indication with leap year, moon phase, lunar calendar, chronograph with central 60-min. counter and minute repeater, circa 1890.  18k gold case, à goutte, reverse side with engraved Gallic cock and motto: “”Nunquam Qies” (“never rest”), engraved bezel with motto: “Fugit Irreparabile Tempus” (“Time flees irretrievable”), gold dome with 26 radial engraved names of different cities, slide for repeating mechanism. The dial is enamel, radial Roman hours, sunk auxiliary seconds, double sunk enamel chapter rings with Roman numerals for hour and minute indication, double sunk date indication, month indication considering the leap year, cobaltblue enamelled moon phase disc with inlaid gold stars and moon, spade gold hands. Bridge movement, frosted, gilt, mirror-polished screws, finely ground chronograph steel parts, ratchet wheel, 2 hammers, 2 gongs, gold screw compensation balance, counterpoised lever, ruby endstone on lever and escape wheel.
