A French decorative cylinder watch in a fine gold and champlevé enamel scallop shaped case, circa 1830-1838.
Scallop shaped (12 lobes) 18 Carat yellow gold case. Case back and bezel engraved and polychrome enamelled in champlevé with a decoration of friezes and foliages painted on enamel. Silver guilloché engine turned dial with Roman radial hours, outer minutes track with Arabic fifteen minutes numerals, and gold Breguet hands. Key winding gilded brass movement with going barrel, cylinder escapement, monometallic balance, and blued steel flat hairspring. Cuvette signed.
