A French 18 carat gold keyless hunting cased chronograph pocket watch with telemeter, circa 1900. The movement of this watch features a lever escapement. It has a white enamel dial with polychrome Arabic numerals, an inner scale for 24 hours, a 1/5th second chronograph scale, subsidiary dials for seconds at 9 and a 30 minute register at 3, an outer tachometer and telemeter graduation, a lap counter, and steel pear shaped hands. The plain case is 18 carat gold, with a hinged case back, bezel, and cuvette. It comes in an attached wooden case.
