Gold gentleman’s pocket watch

A French 18 carat gold open faced keyless lever pocket watch made by Jean Hippolyte Jules Renon in Roanne, circa 1900. The watch features an unsigned, hand wound mechanical movement with a straight line lever, visible lifts, a pendent winding mechanism, and 19 jewels. It has a white enamel dial with mineral glass, Roman numeral hour markers, Arabic outer 1/5th minute divisions, outer railway minute divisions, a subsidiary seconds dial, and pear shaped hands. The 18 carat gold case is engine turned, with initials in a cartouche and engraved flowers on the back. The cuvette bears an inscription.
