A Fine Swiss silver keyless pocket watch with an enamel dial, circa 1942. The case by Dennison, Birmingham, England. The case with hallmarks for 1942. A polished case, maker’s mark A.L.D., bassine with an empty crest on the reverse. White enamel dial, Arabic numerals, outer minute track and blued steel spade hands. A rhodium-plated movement, 15 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance adjusted to three positions, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. Dial and movement signed Rolex, case stamped with maker’s mark, import marks and date mark.
