Gold hunting cased lever watch

A fine Swiss 18K yellow gold, hunting cased keyless pocket watch, circa 1880. Minute-repeater by Montandon, Locle, made for the Hispanic market. Foliate and geometric chased decoration, the front cover centred by a bull charging a horseman, the back cover with a bird amongst the foliage. Hinged gold cuvette with engine-turned border over a glazed gold-rimmed cover.
Silver and gold dial with painted radial Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds, outer minute track, fully engraved and applied with cast gold floral decoration, black steel spade hands. Nickel-plated movement, Geneva striping decoration, 32 jewels, counterpoised straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide in the band. Cuvette signed.
