A fine English, 18K yellow gold minute repeating keyless pocket watch by Baume & Co. London, circa 1883. Case with London hallmarks. The hinged and sprung front cover engraved with two heraldic crests. Hinged gold cuvette with engraved dedication. White enamel dial with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds, and blued steel spade hands.

Frosted gilt movement, three-quarter plate, jewels in screwed chatons, spring barrel, lateral lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, diamond endstone, repeating on gongs activated by a slide in the band. Movement signed.
