Exceptionally well preserved pocket watch

An exceptionally well preserved large numbered verge watch for the Ottoman market made by the Royal watchmaker Julien Le Roy in Paris, France, circa 1780. The open faced gilt numbered original case has a special closing system of the winding opening by a slider in the rim. The excellently preserved multi coloured enamelled dial has black iron hands. The movement, with the same number as the case, has a verge escapement.
