A very fine French 18 carat multi-coloured gold quarter repeating à toc verge pocket watch, circa 1770. The watch features a verge movement that repeats hours and quarters à toc. It has a white enamel Louis XVI dial with Roman numerals for hours and Arabic numerals for minutes. The hands are made of rose gold. The case is also made of rose gold and decorated with 18 carat green gold. The case is numbered, and the dial and movement are signed.
