A French one-handed verge pocket watch in the style of the Souscription watches by Abraham Louis Breguet, circa 1850. The case is silver with a glazed movement. The dial is white enamel with Breguet numerals and one-handed. It has a full plate movement with a three-arm steel balance.
The narrow edge of the watch is ornamented with elaborate hunting scenes and a sunset at a lake. The movement is decorated with an unusual combination of stripe and checked pattern.
