Miniature 18 Carat gold lady’s pendant watch

A pendant watch miniature lady’s watch with stone case and diamond setting, probably made by Édouard Catala in Toulouse, France, circa 1830. The open faced and numbered case of this watch was crafted from 18 Carat gold, its back with jasper inlay and both rims are set with diamonds. The white enamel Louis XV dial has an outer ring with black Arabic minute numerals (outside) and black Roman hour numerals (inside) and gilt hands. The movement has a cylinder escapement.
