A French platinum and rock crystal keyless dress watch with a skeletonised dial, circa 1920.  This watch features a rhodium plated mechanical movement with Geneva striping decoration, 18 jewels, a straight line lever escapement, a cut bimetallic compensation balance with eight adjustments, a blued steel flat balance spring, and an index regulator. It has a skeletonised dial with platinum radial Roman numerals, an engine turned centre with a minute ring on the border, and blued steel Breguet hands. The case is made of rock crystal with a faceted border, a platinum band, and a triangular bow. Dial and movement signed, case numbered.

The case is in very good overall condition, featuring an attractive chamfered bezel that remains intact. There are some light scratches visible under magnification. The platinum surface shows scuffing and scratches, with the platinum mark on the bow visible but slightly rubbed. The dial is in good condition with minor surface wear, and there is some fading of the Cartier signature. The movement is functioning well.
