A French quarter repeating verge in silver and underpainted horn pair cases, circa 1830. beautiful full plate fire gilt fusee movement, fine pierced and engraved bridge cock with garnet endstone, silver regulator disc and blue indicator. Plain three-arm steel balance, blue steel spiral hairspring.
Silver engraved dial depicting a man with his dogs and horse resting in the field, Roman numerals and blue steel Breguet hands. Engine turned silver inner case, silver pendant and bow. Silver outer covered in horn underpainted, depicting two people in a romatic setting, silver pique pins.
