A French rock crystal crucifix-shaped one-handed Renaissance pendant watch from the 17th century. This watch boasts a cruciform gilt full plate movement with a verge escapement. The silver dial features Roman radial hours and half-hour markers, though the only hand is missing. The dial plate is gilt engraved and shaped like a crucifix. The watch is housed in a gilt-brass-mounted rock crystal case that is hinged at the top. The watchmaker, A.R., has signed the movement.
