Gold quarter repeating watch with unusual lever escapement

A French yellow gold hunting cased quarter repeating watch with unusual lever escapement, circa 1830, polished steel lateral lever escapement with elongated lever arm, the fork engaging a locking pin on the balance pivot, blued steel flat balance, signed and numbered engine-turned gold cuvette.
White enamel dial, acid etched centre with foliate scrolls, Roman numerals, four-body ‘bassine et filets’ engine-turned case, chased flower and scroll bands, pendant and bow, pull and twist piston in the pendant, cuvette signed Pere Bouhelier.
