A very fine French 18K gold and enamel Lépine pocket watch made for the Turkish market, circa 1830. The case is enamelled on both sides, the back with a fine polychrome enamel painting depicting a mountain lake, small restorations at the rim. White enamel dial with Turkish numerals and pink gold Breguet hands. Engine-turned inscribed cuvette with a central polished signed and numbered cartouche. Early French Lépine calibre, cylinder escapement.
