A magnificent quarter repeating oignon pocket watch made by Antoine Naudin in Paris, France, circa 1720. The beautifully pierced and engraved case of this watch, crafted from silver, is fitted with a bell, and features mythical creatures and various animals on the back. The white enamel dial has Roman hour markers, an outer minute track with Arabic five minute numerals, and steel poker & beetle hands. The movement with especially fine silver decoration has a verge escapement and hexagonal pillars, repeating the hours and quarter hours.
