Silver open faced pocket alarm watch

A French silver verge pocket watch with alarm, outer covered with leather, signed by Louis Bouffé a Saumur, circa 1690. Full plate fire gilt movement, chain/fusee, three-arm steel balance spring watch, beautiful pierced engraved balance cock.
The leather outer case is decorated with silver pique pins and holes for the alarm sound.
Silver champleve dial with Roman numerals in cartouches, single-handed.
