A French rare, ultra-thin gold and enamel hunting cased gentleman’s pocket watch with jumping digital hour indicator, circa 1830.
The case is decorated en taille d’épargne, black opaque enamel with scrolling foliage, a gold cuvette. Silver floral engraved dial with an eccentric minute dial and aperture for the jumping hours with Arabic numerals. Gilt frosted bridge movement, key wind, cylinder escapement and a three-arm brass balance.
