Gold and enamel open faced verge

A French 18 Carat gold and enamel verge pocket watch, circa 1780. Full plate gilt fusee movement, finely pierced and engraved bridge cock with steel coqueret, plain three arm gilt balance with blue steel spiral hairspring, silver regulator dial with blue steel indicator, winding through the white enamel dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, decorative gilt hands. Consular case, the engraved bezels decourated with translucent dark blue champlevé enamel, the back with translucent dark blue enamel over an engine turned ground decorated with gilt stars and bordered by a row of small enamel faux pearls.
