A French 18 carat gold key wind open faced pocket watch with enamel decoration, circa 1800.
Gilt ull plate chain fusee movement with verge escapement, pierced and engraved decorative cock, plain 3-arm balance with steel polished coqueret, silver regulation disc.
White enamel dial with black Roman numeral hour markers, black outer minute divisions with Arabic numeral five minute markers, winding aperture at 2, gilt beetle and poker style hands.
Consular case with enamel scene to back depicting a maiden with a dog. Dial and movement signed.
