A particularly large gold chronograph watch with register and an extract from the archives, made by A. Lange & Söhne in Glashütte, Sachsen Germany, circa 1908. The numbered open faced case of this watch is crafted from 14 carat gold and has a monogram on the back. The white enamel dial has a red five minute track, a one fifth second track, black Arabic hour numerals, a chronograph, a 30 minute counter at 9 o’clock, a seconds dial at 3 o’clock and blued steel hands. The numbered movement has an extremely fine precision lever escapement with a rare column wheel chronograph with counter, an extremely fine quality golden escapement wheel, a gold lever and a fine adjustment.
Case and movement have matching numbers and the dial and movement are signed.
