German gold precision watch in original sales box Circa 1920

Gold full hunter cased lever watch

A fine hunting cased pocket watch in its original presentation box, including an associated, numbered spare glass, made by A. Lange & Söhne in Glashütte, Germany, circa 1920. The numbered case of this watch was crafted from 14 carat gold. The white enamel dial features Arabic hour numerals, an outer minute track, sunk center, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and original gold spade hands. The numbered precision movement is fitted with an A. Lange & Söhne lever escapement with gold lever, gold escape wheel and fine adjustment.
The case and movement bear matching numbers, and the dial and case are signed Deutsche Uhrenfabrikation Glashütte I/SA A. Lange & Söhne, Deutsche Uhrenfabrikation Glashütte I/SA on the movement and presentation box, and Lange Uhr on the inside presentation box.
