A fine and rare Swiss 18k yellow gold keyless pocket watch, circa 1910. retailed by George B. Rose Inc., La Crosse, Wis. A polished bezel and band, case back with engraving. Hinged gold cuvette engraved From Mother 1914. White enamel dial, black Arabic numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds and blue steel spade hands. Movement with 19 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, eight adjustments, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, patent screw micrometre regulator. Dial, case, cuvette and movement signed Vacheron & Constantin.
