Rare probably a Glashütte school watch
–
A rare precision pocket watch, probably made at the watchmaking school in Glashütte, Germany, circa 1893. This numbered solid full hunter cased watch was crafted from 900 silver has gold hinges, the typical Glashütte quality and the maker’s mark O. Vogel, Glashütte. The original white enamel dial has Roman hour numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial at six o’clock with Arabic numerals and high quality red gold hands. The movement has a  Glashütte precision lever escapement with gold lever and gold escapement wheel, an early version with engraved cock and is still without fine adjustment.
Dial and movement are signed.
