A fine Glashütte gentleman’s pocket watch – manufactured in quality 1A – specially made for Charles William Schumann, New York, circa 1883.
18 carat gold polished case with monogram and gold dome. Signed enamel dial with radial Roman hours, auxiliary seconds and blued spade hands. Decorated gilt 3/4 plate movement with screwed gold chatons, gold screw compensation balance, florally hand-engraved balance cock, gold lever and escape wheel and chatoned diamond endstone on balance.
