A Heavy German Glashütte full hunter Ankerchronometer pocket watch, manufactured in quality 1A, circa 1890.
Frosted gilt 3/4 plate movement, screwed gold chatons, large gold screw compensation balance, florally hand-engraved balance cock, gold lever, gold escape wheel. Enamel dial with Arabic radial hours, outer minutes track with red five minutes numerals, subsidiary dial for the seconds, and gold Louis XV-style hands. Polished 18K rose gold case, dedication engraving, factory glazing. Accompanied by the original box and certificate – sold in 1890 for 600 marks.
